INTERNATIONAL SEMINARS

 

• 27 to 28 February 2017 – Mr Peyton returned to Germany to provide “Training the Trainers” course in Hamburg, Germany for senior surgical consultants.  The course is sponsored by Johnson and Johnson Medical who are a multi-national Fortune 500 Company pharmaceutical and medical device company which produces pharmaceutical and medical devises.  It is also heavily involved in training, delivering a comprehensive range of customised, ongoing surgical training programmes led by surgical specialists who are valued and respected by health care professionals around the world.
   

• 23 to 24 February 2017 – Mr Peyton delivered his trademark “Training the Trainers” course to senior consultants in Berlin, Germany.  The course was sponsored by the Helios Group which is one of the largest hospital groups in Europe, dedicated to innovative practice and committed to ensuring their specialists have access to the most advanced training.

Seminars for Northern Ireland Solicitors CPD

In December 2016 Mr Peyton presented three highly successful seminars for local solicitors on:

​

• Medical Mistakes and the Law examined the difference between complications and medical negligence and now to tell the difference as well as the role of the medical expert in helping solicitors to determine whether there are grounds for taking a case. 
   

• Whiplash – Myth or Reality? a look at the mechanics and consequences of whiplash injuries one of the most common injuries referred for medico-legal opinion. 
   

• The Power of Persuasion in Legal Practice – a practical workshop examining how to gain and keep rapport, determine a client’s desired outcome and get to win win in even the most difficult circumstances. 

In March 2016 Mr Peyton taught physicians at the Helios Group in Berlin and Asklepios Group in Hamburg

In April 2016 Mr Peyton delivered Training the Trainers courses for Surgeons at several venues in Sweden including Upsalla University and at Gothenburg. This continues a long tradition of supporting excellence among Swedish Surgeons.
